8: A fungi that carries out anaerobic fermentation

Yeast is a fungi that carries out anaerobic fermentation.

Gluclose a six carbon molecule undergoes glycolysis and regenerates NAD to NADH and becomes pyruvic acid a three compound molecule. Then a carbon leaves making a two carbon compound and a hydrogen is added creating, one out of two possible fermentation products, ethyl alcohol.
